Ethos Escapes officially launched in 2025, but its true beginning was my lifelong love for travel. After exploring over 50 countries across 5 continents, I realised travel was more than just ticking off landmarks - it was about genuine connection and making a positive impact. Having spent years planning and advising on unforgettable holidays for friends and family, turning that passion into a business was a natural next step for me.

There is a quote attributed to St. Augustine of Hippo that has always resonated with me: The world is a book, and those who don't travel read only one page. For me, travel has always been more than just a break. Its true goal is to open your mind, foster cultural understanding, and deepen your appreciation for our world and shared humanity. I know a holiday is perfect when I return home feeling physically, mentally, and spiritually refreshed and renewed.

Our Name

Ethos comes from Greek (ήθος), meaning "character," "morals," or "guiding beliefs"—the very root of the word "ethics." This concept of credibility and trustworthiness is absolutely crucial in travel. After all, you're investing your money and precious time, and you need to know your airline is reliable, your tour company delivers, and your destination is truly safe and welcoming.

That's precisely why we chose "Ethos" for our name. We want you to feel confident that holidays with us are built on strong values. We're committed to quality service, genuine authenticity, and responsible travel practices, qualities often missing in standard holiday packages.
